Welcome to Seaview Academy

Seaview Academy is a free, online education program available to all Washington State students. Seaview is located in the Port Angeles School District and utilizes teachers who are Washington State certified to provide online instruction to students in grades Kindergarten – 12th. Seaview Academy provides a variety of core and elective classes in a non-traditional manner through an online learning platform. Seaview Academy’s online program curriculum is provided by Edgenuity. All curriculum is designed to meet the Washington State standards as defined by OSPI.

Board Meeting 3/27/25

From the Office of the Superintendent of the Port Angeles School District:

  • There will be a Capital Funds Extension Hearing on Thursday, March 27 at 5:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Center, 905 West 9th Street, Port Angeles, WA  98363.
  • There is a Public Comment Section during the Capital Funds Extension Hearing.
  • There will be a PASD Regular Board Meeting upon conclusion of the Capital Funds Extension Hearing.
  • The Capital Funds Extension Hearing and the Board Meeting is open to the public and can be viewed virtually on the PASD YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@portangelesschooldistrict

Special Board Meeting 2/22/25

·        There will be a PASD Special Board Meeting on Saturday , February 22 at 8:00 a.m. at the Lincoln Center, 905 West 9th Street, Port Angeles, WA 98363.

Heritage Language Program Grant

Applications are being accepted for the Heritage Language Program grant through the Port Angeles School District. Individuals who are interested in pursuing an education degree in Klallam Language with the intent of moving into a teaching position at a school or with the tribe should apply.

Scholarship available upon proof of registration. (Winter, spring 2025)

Qualifications:

High School Diploma with 2 years of Klallam language or already tribal certified and working towards a college degree. Preferably Tribal State Certified.

Deadline for Application:

Submit your application to Michelle Olsen at molsen@portangelesschools.org by 5:00pm on March 15, 2025.

Applications will be screened and awarded by March 30, 2025.

Applicants are encouraged to register now for the Klallam language course currently being offered winter and spring quarter at Peninsula College.
